ICAN AERO40 Carbon Wheels - Jonny Pink's Enthusiastic Review!
We've received an enthusiastic message from Johnny Pink, who purchased ICAN AERO40 carbon wheels (disc brake specification). He is an avid road cyclist living in America. His review of the AERO40 Carbon Wheels is so compelling that it has delighted us, the ICAN staff.
We would like to share this joy with all of you, so we are presenting it here.

Life is short, and I believe we should enjoy it to the fullest. If you're going to get something, it should be the best for your use. But what exactly is "the best"? Performance? Ease of use? And price? If it were me, I'd choose in that order.
Before I started road cycling, I was a runner. So, I knew that professional tools, regardless of the sport, yielded better results even if you weren't aiming for a professional level. Good tools give you an advantage in achieving results. You should focus all your energy and power on performance, rather than being hindered by the tools you use.
When I started road cycling, I chose what I thought was the best bike within my budget. However, it was an aluminum frame model that I got in stock condition, with cheap wheels and an entry-level derailleur. In fact, most well-known manufacturers, due to cost considerations, offer affordable bikes with inexpensive wheels and parts.
If you choose these, you can get the road bike you've always wanted at a reasonable price. However, it's important to note that these entry-level bikes carry the potential for future expenses. Many veteran riders will tell you:
"Try changing your wheels, it will change everything!"

Following this advice, I saved up money and replaced my wheels. And wow! A whole new and enjoyable world opened up to me. I was completely hooked on road cycling. I started longing for higher-end bikes and parts, regardless of the price. By the way, I'll confess quietly here, it's now my turn to tell beginner riders:
"Try changing your wheels, it will change everything!"
But I never forget to add, "You should check out a manufacturer called ICAN." There's a reason why my thinking changed this way. I'll tell you about it now.
A few years after starting road cycling, I was able to get a top-tier road bike with a full Shimano Dura-Ace groupset. Then, I began searching for the perfect wheels to match this bike with its top-tier components.
Fortunately, at the time, I was working at a bike shop. Searching for the best wheels, I was able to test various wheels there. I found some good wheels. However, some were trash, not matching their brand and price. In the end, I couldn't find anything I thought was truly perfect.

That is, until I came across wheels from a brand called ICAN. I was a bit skeptical about wheels from an unfamiliar brand. I had never seen anyone using them. However, having seen so many wheels, something clicked. The solid construction and precision, the weight, and the reasonable price. Realizing that even the highest price range didn't guarantee the best wheels, I decided to take a chance on these wheels. At this time, I particularly emphasized durability and lightness.
That's because I had tough plans to climb all the mountains in Southern California by bike. But if the bike broke, the plan would end right there.
I decided to make a video about it. My adventure began. As I rode, I couldn't help but be moved. Because I knew I had found the best wheels: ICAN.
What makes them the best?

First, the braking performance. Even though the brake tracks on the rim sides were carbon, they didn't overheat, allowing me to descend confidently. The smooth rotation and the way the power from my pedaling was efficiently converted into propulsion were also impressive. The robustness, as expected, was also noteworthy.
And the fact that I could get all these performances for a fraction of the cost of other products was the decisive factor that made them "the best." The adventure ended successfully without any major problems.
I still maintain and service these ICAN 38mm wheels, along with the bike I used for that adventure, so I can ride them anytime I want. Years have passed and I've ridden a tremendous distance, yet this setup still gives me the same performance as it did then. Since then, whenever I buy a new bike, I always incorporate new ICAN wheels, and I'm impressed every time.
ICAN has released their latest AERO series, and I decided to get the AERO40 disc thru-axle model. In fact, I had just acquired a racing-level bike from a famous brand and needed new wheels.
"Yes!" was my first reaction.

These AERO40 wheels, like previous ICAN wheels, were amazing. The difference before and after the swap was like night and day. They had all the expected elements: athletic performance, smooth rotation, durability, precision, and a conscientious price.
The new AERO series can be used with both clincher and tubeless tires. As for me, I still use clincher tires filled with sealant. I like the feeling of clincher tires on tubeless-ready wheels.
To delve a little deeper into the AERO40, these wheels have an exquisite shape. This results in excellent handling when pushing hard downhill and when encountering crosswinds. It's a distinctly impressive sensation. Furthermore, the sense of quality is exceptional, yet they are priced affordably. The fact that they are UCI approved by international racing bodies will corroborate these statements.
Let me tell you, I'm not an ICAN shill. I'm just an ardent ICAN fan who discovered their quality through use. I even made a video, but when you like something, you want to recommend it to others. I let my cycling friends try them on their bikes and ask for their opinions. It's exhilarating to see their surprised faces.
As a user, I've shared the above story based on my convictions. It's an immense joy to receive photos and emails from people all over the world who chose ICAN wheels based on my story and videos.
And as an ardent ICAN fan, it is also a great joy to share these photos and emails with all of you, the ICAN staff.
Yes! Life is short, and you should enjoy it to the fullest. Live today, live in the present. Do your best. ICAN is here. Go, go, and conquer it all!
