Due to the nature of disc brakes, gravel and mud are less likely to accumulate when riding in the rain, and the larger tire diameter increases stability compared to road bikes, so there's no need to worry about slipping even on wet surfaces. We also recommend it for beginners who are considering purchasing a road bike. As a first sports bike, a gravel road bike can be used for commuting to work or school, and its comfort and off-road capability will be maximized for short touring trips on weekends.
The versatility of a gravel road bike also increases depending on how many carriers can be attached. Highly expandable models can even have mounts on the front fork. If you plan to use it for touring or camping, a highly expandable model would be a good choice.
Depending on the size of the tires installed, gravel road bikes can be broadly categorized into off-road-oriented gravel road bikes or road-bike-oriented gravel road bikes. Regarding wheel and tire compatibility, 700C wheels are compatible with tires from 30C to 42C, so you can change them after purchase to suit your purpose or preference.
