High-performance D91 Hub (with 45T star ratchet system)
The latest D91 hub adopts a 45T star ratchet system, replacing the 6-pawl system used in the conventional D21 hub.
Additionally, a unique design is incorporated for the Shimano freehub body, achieving weight reduction while ensuring rigidity.
As a result, a weight reduction of approximately 90g has been achieved compared to the D21 hub.

The 45T star ratchet system, equipped with S&S steel bearings, ensures smooth rotation and long life.
It maintains stable drive performance even in adverse conditions such as mud and rain, outperforming standard bearings.
